Flying Kraken Creative Studios is a Canadian-based studio that creates original content and specializes in design and art direction. It’s a boutique shop with big ideas, brought to life in 2011 by award-winning industry veterans Rose-Ann Tisserand and Greg Huculak, collaborators driven by the power of storytelling.
Greg Huculak is a highly regarded conceptual artist, production designer and art director who’s worked in animation for more than 22 years. He’s designed and developed visual and/or art direction for Annapurna Pictures/Sausage Party Foodtopia, SyFy, eOne Entertainment, Amazon, Hulu, Spin Master, Bento Box, Gaumont, Silvergate Media, PBS Kids, Alpha Group, Cottonwood Media, Mattel, Nelvana, Atomic, Corner Gas, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Nick, Nick Jr. and many more.
Rose-Ann Tisserand has more than 250 hours of credits and has worked as a production executive for 20 years, specializing in feature animation and episodic TV. She was supervising producer at Bardel Entertainment and Consulting Producer with the NFB. She is the Founder and Executive Producer of the ACE Canada Program, in partnership with WIA Vancouver. ACE an animation career excel-orator program to advance mid-level women and non-binary professionals into key creative roles.
